As the name suggests, the music of Sussex's Suns Up is drenched in sunny tones and designed for good times. At their core, their tracks are just really well written, really catchy Indie pop songs and by listening to their acoustic versions of releases like 'Love You Back' you can tell their song-crafting prowess.
However, their latest release '(You're) All I Want' stands out from their previous work and caught our attention instantly. Powered by an infectious Indie-disco drum beat, the single packs a great energy from the start that lifts their usual hazy summer vibes into a funkier more danceworthy offering similar to the upbeat sunshine vibes of PIXEY. The vocals are fitted with a dark, electro effect to add a bit more tension to the sound but not too much to dominate. The result is that the song is constantly building just waiting to explode in the instrumental sections. '(You're) All I Want' is the first track off their upcoming EP which will certainly be one to watch out for. But in the meantime, get this song on all your summer playlists and soak up the sun with the right soundtrack!
