Racecar aren’t your average Indie outfit. Blending styles from Folk to Art Pop and Funk Rock to Alternative, their new single ‘Fall Leave’ takes you on a true sonic journey that is equally impressive in vocal delivery as it is in instrumental complexity.

The intro completely enraptures you in a blissful swirl of layered vocals that intertwine and overlap, creating a tumbling cascade of angelic vocal lines reminiscent of acts like Laura Marling, Divorce and Jockstrap. The pounding beat, sharp strings and rolling guitar line then rise the energy, building to a wonderfully bright and expressive chorus.
This chorus is driven by a bouncy Dance Rock rhythm and populated by super powerful lead vocals that dip and soar between poignant resonant notes and emotive calls that reach for the heavens.
The track never stagnates, refusing to stick to a typical structure, always switching up the energy and atmosphere, pulling together all these elements of heavier passion, lighter melody and artistic flair into a theatrical piece that dances and weaves with a sonic freedom.
There’s so much to enjoy from this track but the one thing we can guarantee is that you will not be bored by it! A uniquely inventive Art-Pop performance full of personalities that showcases the myriad of talents that racecar posses.
