The track, and indeed, the upcoming album ‘The Lark Lane Melancholy’ is inspired by his time spent in Liverpool, absorbing the atmosphere and history of the place and blending that with his own personal experience.
Despite the album title, this first single is filled with an uplifting energy akin to Alfie Templeman and a mesmerising spirit comparable to Aaron Taos. The vintage synth textures carry a nostalgic charm that is further amplified by the hypnotic rolling rhythm of the guitar and bass lines.
