Nashville's Birksie releases summer-ready single 'Found Somebody'!

Roll down the windows, put your feet on the dashboard and open a can of beer because Birksie’s new single ‘Found Somebody’ has arrived. This track has an authentic, Folky tone, echoing the titans of modern Indie such as Hozier and Noah Kahan. Lyric-led, like all songs by this Aussie-born, Nashville-based artist are, Birksie guides listeners into the single with a few lone, reverberating guitar strums. Birksie wrote about composing this song on Instagram, saying "you feel like you’ve caught lightning in a bottle and for a second there’s no other songs that matter". It certainly feels that way as a listener; as if you’ve closed your eyes and placed your hand on a fluttering heartbeat, everything but the pulse of the music melts away. The lyrics – “baby, you found somebody in me” – speak of the all-encompassing experience of love, condensed into three minutes.
