Mancunian Indie hit makers M60 are back once again with another anthem perfect for the summer festival season. The new track ‘Cards We Dealt’ is their first release of the year and has made a big impact on the band’s return.
It instantly grabs you with an infectious guitar line that is sharp, bright and undeniably catchy, snapping you out of whatever you were doing and demanding your attention. The rhythm is a bouncy one, built for dancing and it intertwines wonderfully with the aforementioned guitar line to produce a really full sound as the guitars fill any empty space left in the rhythmic percussion.
The vocals are powerful and sentimental, delivering heartfelt lyrics of past regrets but also of letting loose and embracing what life throws your way. This is a perfect summer Indie anthem that will make you want to dance around a festival field and sing your heart out.
