Liverpool songwriter Drew Friel returns with new single 'Telescope Eyes'!

If you want to wander through the sticky, cable covered floors of Liverpool’s bars, to poke your head out to a spinning sunrise, to dance back to a run-down flatshare over the river, put on Drew Friel’s new single ‘Telescope Eyes’.

His guitar jangles with sunny rhythms reminiscent of The La’s, his backing tracks provide the twisted Psychedelic swirls of The Beatles, but there is something very distinctive about the longing crescendos of this single. It rises into bouncy, Pop song heights before crashing back into Drew's intimate guitar lines.

‘Telescope Eyes’ feels almost like a homecoming; Drew has been involved in the Merseyside music scene for some time now but his newest single is a patchwork of everything exciting going on in its ever-expanding embrace. Even if you live nowhere near Merseyside, allow his light rhythms and mesmerising vocals to walk you down its streets, just before the sun rises.
