Kids In Glass Houses made their return known and in a big way last month with their revival track 'Theme from Pink Flamingo', bringing in new influences, redefining their sound and signifying the start of their new era. The band have now solidified their new lease on life with the release of a second single, 'Vulnerable'; making a statement that they are here to stay.

As the title implies, this track is a more nuanced and emotive look into the bands personality than the last and wears its heart on its sleeve. The journey the band have been on as musicians, and more importantly as people, over the last 11-year hiatus can be felt clearly within the lyrics and the intricacies of the music. Passion bleeds from the vocals throughout while the instrumentals create a vibrant, Indie Synth-Pop soundscape.
This new direction for Kids In Glass Houses could be sensed towards the end of their last 2013 album ‘Peace’ and to see this new sound fully realised in this single has showcased the direction they intend to head. ‘Vulnerable’ has put us in suspense for what the band has on the horizon.
