We’ve hit that time of year where we’re seeking the feel-good vibrant Indie tunes to soundtrack our summer and ‘just another day’ certainly fits the bill. Perhaps, the lyrical content is a bit more bittersweet than the instrumentation suggests but the overall vibe has a really slick, funky and feel-good atmosphere that we just love.
The crisp Indie guitar riff instantly transports you to a sunshine-soaked festival or laid back poolside party with its bright melody. Meanwhile, the vocals have a smooth caress to them despite the sentiment of the lyrics that laments for that special someone to show they care.
The part that really ties the track together though is the background production, full of samples and synth tones that bubble along, creating a playful canvas for the colourful lead parts to land on top of.
A really hypnotic, bittersweet summer single that will get stuck your head.
