East Anglia’s Bag Of Cans deliver groovy Indie Pop single ‘Favourite Shirt’!

Norwich’s five-man band Bag Of Cans return with their playful new single ‘Favourite Shirt’.

The band effortlessly make us laugh with every release, with this track evoking the feeling of wearing your best shirt using a call and response reminiscent of ‘Parklife’ by Blur. Vocalist George Baker paints a vivid picture of a man walking down the street, "drowning in confidence" due to the feeling his shirt gives him.

Despite the comedic element of the first half of the single, the group are unrelenting in their musicality, and the power chords of guitarist Tom McGhie, begin to speed up and show even more technical skill in the second half.

There is not a second wasted in the track, with the changes of pace becoming even more frequent towards the end. The question of "what’s he wearing?" at the heel of the song prompts the response "Favourite Shirt!" from the listeners, just in case you hadn’t been yelling it out already!

Fans of the early releases from Sports Team and FEET will love this!
