Discover the soothing sunny sounds of Indie duo Trash Pals!

If you have been searching for an uplifting new sound to lift your spirits and ease you into Spring with a soothing sonic optimism then Indie duo Trash Pals are for you!

Made up of multifaceted artists Conor Rayne and Gabriel Schnider, Trash Pals are no stranger to writing hits. In fact, Conor has worked with a string of industry leaders such as Chance the Rapper and Mark Ronson while Gabe's virtuosity has led him to collaborate with Wynton Marsalis and Jon Batiste. However, the pair opt for a gentler, easy-going sound in this wonderfully comforting collaboration.

Their new single 'Sonya' instantly radiates a nostalgic, Sunny indie energy as if you are reminiscing on care-free beach days with friends or lazy days spent with your loved one. The vintage tone of the guitar is largely responsible for creating this nostalgic feel and has hints of The Lemon Twigs retro adoration but without being overt nod to sounds gone by.

The vocals then bring the soothing, warm energy to the track by delivering each line with such a smooth finesse. The verses are almost spoken with a lullaby softness while the chorus sees wonderful harmonies combine in a velvety sunshine style.

We just love how much positivity that the track emits! Even the lyrics of "everything will be okay" just melt away any troubles you may have while guitar lines tangle and wind loosely in the backdrop, providing constant melodic interest.

As soon as the sunny days start to arrive, this should be a must on your summer playlist!
