Discover the infectious Art Rock anthems of KC Blackwater!

Writer: BOOT - - - MUSICBOOT - - - MUSIC

Pure, raw, ferocity pours out of the latest single from KC Blackwater from the very first seconds as harsh vocal growls spit out of the speaker. The song title ‘Every Time I Clock In (Frances Perkins Rolls In Her Grave)' points at the tongue-in-cheek social commentary of their lyricism but the sound isn’t quite as convulsed as the name.

Big sharp riffs make for a perfect danceworthy Art-Rock explosion. The angstier moments ring of IDLES while the more vibrant, lighter tones have an air of Youth Sector. This blend between the bright Indie Sleaze and harsher Garage Rock punch brings together the best of both worlds for a hugely infectious single.

Be sure to look out for KC’s tour dates as it sounds like the perfect energy for a live show!
