One of our favourite new songwriters is Eden Rain, a confident vocalist who blends stripped-back, Pop-tinged performances with exciting doses of hip-hop and r&b. This combination creates songs that are both soulful and melodic and her previous single ‘I Found My Brain’ instantly caught our attention!

Since that first single that hooked us in, Eden has released a string of follow up tracks that showcase even more depth and variety in her songwriting. 'Great Nothing' is a moodier, more intimate song that begins with a delicate and eery Billie Eilish esc performance before growing into a groove-driven soulful hit. The vocals layer on top of each other to build a powerful and cinematic sound that combines elements of Olivia Dean with a more anthemic, Lana Del Rey style atmosphere.
Her newest release 'Palo Alto' takes an even more delicate deep-dive into sentimental contemplations. Uniquely constructed Gen-Z lyrics meld beautifully with her soft, soothing vocal delivery. In what is becoming typical of the Eden Rain style, the track grows wonderfully, gathering strings and a thumping bass drum along the way to result in a swelling wall of impactful emotion by the end. Is is then rounded off with a final piano outro which reminds us where the sonic journey first started.
