As it's Independent Venue Week we thought we'd give our rundown of some of our favourite Liverpool / Merseyside music venues...
One of our favourite venues in town is the famous EBGBs, home to our show with THE GOA EXPRESS last year! This 150 cap basement venue is perfect for lively Indie nights as well as late night DJ events.

Talking of famous, there are few locations more famous in Liverpool's music scene than The Jacaranda. This small basement room was where The Beatles played their first ever show, since then it has hosted countless stars from the city including STONE and Crawlers as well as global music legends such as The Hives. Perfect for a sweaty moshpit. Now, Jacaranda have opened a brand new venue in the Baltic!

Located in the Fabric District, what is set to be Liverpool's next big creative district, Round The Corner is the perfect loft space for the city's more quirky and alternative music lovers. From Neo-Soul and Jazz-Funk to Experimental Folk and Death Metal, they have it all!
Coined as the best place near Concert Square for people who don't like Concert Square, the beautiful dive bar provides a vibrant musical alternative to those who are sick of the usual Dance / Pop soundtracks of the clubs nearby. Loads of free live music on all throughout the week.

Live music, craft beers and veggie NY style pizza...what's not to love. Do be sure to check opening times as they are closed part of the week but the friendly staff and lively atmosphere are not to be missed. If you're a fan of the heavier side of music then this is your spot!
This community focused venue has a range of events that promote good causes and showcase the city's next wave of talent. A perfect safe space for enjoying new music and sampling the Liverpool creative community.
Kazimier Gardens is by far one of the most beautiful and exciting bars in Liverpool. Their Stockroom also provides the perfect setting for a raucous live show. All the best emerging bands in Liverpool will play the Kaz Stockroom as some point in the career, your job is simply to catch them here before they get too big!

Known primarily as a vibrant cocktail bar, Metrocola's live room has also become home to some of the most exciting shows in town, including the Parrjazz Mutant Jazz nights.
Arts Bar Hope Street was renowned for its friendly atmosphere and range of acoustic shows. Now, the Arts Bar team have opened a second venue in the Baltic Triangle with a bigger capacity for full band performances. You can expect regular free music nights & their trademark customer service. The perfect place to stop off while exploring the city's creative sector.
Not technically in Liverpool but a MUST visit for any music fans visiting the city, Future Yard lies just across the water on The Wirral. Just a short 5 minute trip from Liverpool city centre, this 300-cap venue boasts a fine selection of IPAs, a delicious veggie-friendly kitchen and some of the best live bookings around. It also played host to our first live showcase with October Drift back in 2022!
