Rockers Avalanche Party always manage to make their music breathe with an anthemic drama that sucks you into their eery world of euphoric angst and their new single wastes no time in doing that once again. The track ‘Nureyev Said It Best’ opens with pounding drums and dystopian sirens that alert you to the fact that something huge is coming.

What proceeds is a wonderfully grimy Dance Rock sound that blends insanely catchy instrumental hooks with punchy vocal calls that are spat at the mic with a bitter frustration. The bouncy rhythm and eery vibe rings of acts like Opus Kink as the sharp guitar lines almost mimic horns in their tone and delivery.
You can’t listen to this without wanting to dive into a mosh pit as the energy is palpable with every note and the dance worthy rhythm has such a perfect balance of gloomy atmosphere and euphoric energy. The final build up at the end of the track paints an image in your mind of everyone widening that pint before it bursts into a high octane finish that has a gargantuan power to it.
A fantastic change of style for one of our favourite Rock acts in the UK.
