Avalanche Party return with Dance Punk anthem 'Shake The Slack'!

Previous releases under the titles of ‘John Coltrane’s Moscow Skyscraper’ and ‘Serious Dance Music’ perfectly encompass the indescribable uniqueness of North Yorkshire’s Post-Punk rockers, Avalanche Party.

Their latest work ‘Shake The Slack’ initially combines grungy basslines with an early 80s disco synth, reminiscent of the Two-Tone movement, which are then layered amongst unavoidably eccentric vocal hooks.

Featuring elements of Disco, Punk, Britpop, Grunge and Indie Rock, Avalanche Party’s single is infectious, intriguing, and a shot to the heart of the UK music scene. Lyrically powerful, and instrumentally unmistakeable, this new track slots right into their unorthodox discography.

This merge of modern and traditional influences is sure to pave the way for the band’s distinctive style as it reaches the ears of the musically curious - and most likely the not-so curious too.
